Healthy Banana Strawberry Watermelon “Ice Cream”
Who doesn’t like dessert for breakfast!? Well, banana “ice cream” is all the rage lately, and when banana is the main ingredient in your ice cream, I think it’s totally acceptable to eat for breakfast! So, the other morning I decided to whip up a new combination of fruit for my breakfast ice cream. I topped it with a healthy scoop of my yummy Homemade Cinnamon Granola with Walnuts and Raisins. Delicious!
You could add in whatever fruit you have in your freezer or sub out any favorites you have instead of the fruits I used.
What you’ll need: a strong food processor/blender, frozen banana, frozen watermelon, strawberries and toppings of your choice
Combine the frozen banana, watermelon and strawberries in a food processor or blender and blend until completely smooth. If it’s super thick, you can add a splash of OJ or water to loosen the mixture up so it will blend better.
And the finished product…
